Man, 26, dies in Faversham after falling down stairs despite efforts of Kent air ambulance crew

A young man has died after falling down stairs in Faversham.

The 26-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering head injuries.

Emergency services were called to the accident at about 12.30pm on Friday.

An air ambulance landed in a nearby field and paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service were also scrambled.

But they could not save his life and the man died at the scene.

An air ambulance spokesman said he suffered an accidental injury after falling down stairs.
