Faversham Transport Weekend is set to celebrate its 20th year.

The popular event usually attracts thousands of revellers, and displays more than 500 classic vehicles throughout the town.

On Saturday, there will be dozens of vintage buses and large commercial vehicles with free bus trips round town.

The Best of Faversham and Faversham Market will also be running.

On Sunday, Faversham will fill with hundreds of classic cars and motorbikes, as well as family events and stalls selling vehicle memorabilia.

Standard Quay will be a new venue for part of the festival with electric bikes on show, free rides on a seven-seater bicycle and the Kent Cultural Baton Bus parking up for the weekend.

Brogdale’s miniature railway will also be running a special service on Sunday with rides on the UK’s only nine-inch gauge railway costing £1.50.

There will be a park and ride service operating from Macknade Fine Foods in Selling Road and Brogdale Farm in Brogdale Road throughout the weekend.

There will also be parking at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Abbey Place.
