Video footage has captured the extent of sudden floods in Faversham.

Water from the town's creek gushed onto North Lane - near to the Shepherd Neame brewery - in a matter of minutes.

Onlookers say the water is more than a foot in depth and is continuing to get higher.

Kent County Council Highways teams are warning motorists to expect delays in the area.

The flooding is between Bridge Road and West Street.

The remnants of Storm Ciara - which battered Kent yesterday - are expected to last until 7pm today, with strong winds being forecast.

A driver came a cropper after yesterday night as they attempted to drive through flood water on the A20.
