POLICE are appealing for a woman to come forward after she helped them locate a suspected stolen car in Faversham.

Patrols were alerted to a green Ford Capri in the St Ann’s Road area of the town on Wednesday (February 6) at around 2.15pm.

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle but it drove off and they lost sight of it.

A short time later, a woman on a mobility scooter in Tanners Street flagged the patrol car down to say she had seen the vehicle driving erratically and heading towards Goldfinch Close.
