Lorry and car smash on M2 between J6 and J7 sparks delays

A crash between a lorry and a car on a motorway today is causing delays.
The collision happened at about 1.30pm on the M2 coast bound between J6 A251 (Faversham) and J7 A2 Canterbury Road.
Police sensors show the incident is affecting travel from Chatham to Margate.
Delays have been reported on the A299 Thanet Way, Brenley Lane and Homestall Lane (Brenley Corner).
Kent Police has been contacted for comment.
