Military medals stolen from home in Bensted Grove, Faversham

A number of military medals, jewellery and passports were stolen during a burglary.

Police are investigating after a General Service Medal for Northern Ireland with the service number 24168295 engraved on it, the UN Medal for Bosnia, South Atlantic Medal and Gulf Medal were all swiped from a home in Bensted Grove in Faversham.

A gold paratrooper ring, Royal Engineers cufflinks, a silver ring with a Viking head, passports and a digital safe were also taken in the raid.

The burglary took place between 9.30am and 7pm on Tuesday, April 4.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered these items for sale or who may have witnessed something suspicious on the day.
