Kent Fire and Rescue crews put out blaze at Shell petrol station at Macknade on the A2 at Faversham

Crews from three fire engines and a foam unit dealth with a motorhome that caught light while refuelling at a petrol station in Faversham.

Firefighters were called to the Shell garage at Macknade on the A2 Cantebury Road at 1.20pm.

Crews isolated the Liquid Petroleum Gas-powered vehicle, moving it away from the petrol pumps, switched off the LPG cannister and wore breathing apparatus to fight the fire.
