Office closure due to poor economic climate

The poor economic climate has forced us to close our Faversham News office in West Street.

The KM Group, which owns the Faversham News, made the announcement in the wake of declining revenues, something that is affecting all media businesses.

The company will still be publishing the Faversham News and remains firmly committed to the town.

Editor Leo Whitlock said: “The Faversham News, the Faversham Extra and kentishgazette.co.uk remain very important parts of our portfolio and we are determined to continue to give our readers and advertisers the best possible service.”

The News and Extra will be published from the KM Group’s brand new purpose-built offices on the outskirts of Whitstable.

To tell us about a story, you can still call us on 01795 532345.

To place an advert, you can still call us on 01795 534545.

You can always email us on favershamnews@thekmgroup.co.uk

If you have any questions about the closure, please call Mr Whitlock on 01227 475901 or email lwhitlock@thekmgroup.co.uk
