A derelict hall has been taped off and there was a heavy police presence behind Faversham Train Station last night.

Police have confirmed that no specific incident has occurred but that the derelict building is considered unsafe.

It had received reports that individuals might have tried to gain entry.

Officers are believed to have been at the scene from around 7pm.
