Traffic on Thanet Way between Faversham and Whitstable as police called to four vehicle crash

Drivers have been suffering huge delays on the Thanet Way after a crash involving four vehicles.

The incident was reported shortly after 3.20pm but led to one lane being closed between Faversham and Whitstable.

The A299 coastbound carriageway has been struggling with motorists stuck in queues approaching the Graveney Road turning shortly after Brenley Corner.

No serious injuries have been reported, police said.

KCC Highways warned drivers to expect delays after junction 7 of the M2 at Brenley Corner.

Slow moving traffic is also reported on the Londonbound carriageway past the scene of the incident.
