Sex assault on woman in street

POLICE are appealing for information after a 25-year-old woman was the victim of a sex assault.

The woman was walking home with two men in Priory Place at Faversham when the incident happened.

Sally Smith, police media and communications officer for the mid-Kent area, said: "It is alleged that one of the men made advances towards her and sexually assaulted her. The woman is then said to have pushed the man away and he left the area."

The offence occurred sometime between 2.20am and 3am on Friday, April 28.

Police have conducted house-to-house enquires in the area and are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the woman walking from Ennerdale, off of Love Lane, towards Priory Row.
