Police are urging drivers to remove valuable items from their cars after a spate of thefts in Faversham.

Between Friday, February 10 and Monday, February 13, at least six vehicles were broken into.

Tools, an MP3 player, a phone and even a pint of milk were just some of the items stolen during incidents across the town.

It is believed that all of the following incidents involved a passenger door being forced.

• A carton of milk, a phone and a small wallet with cash inside was taken from a silverCitroen Picasso in Athelstan Road. (Crime reference:XY/006718/17)
• A number of workman's tools were taken from asilver Ford Transit in Aldred Road. (Crime reference: XY/006723/17)
• Bricklayer's hand tools and two power drills taken from awhite Mercedes Benz Vito transit van in Lower Road. (Crime reference:XY/006720/17)
• Plasterer's paddle mixer and two DeWalt power drills taken from agrey Renault Traffic transit van in Fielding Street. (Crime reference:XY/006729/17)
• A Philips MP3 Player and a brand new Epson printer taken from asilver Nissan Navara in South Road. (Crime reference:XY/006759/17)
• Plumber's tools and a tool box taken froma white Fiat Scudo van in Ospringe Road. (Crime reference:XY/006704/17)

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting the crime reference number.

Police would like to advise drivers to remove valuable items from their vehicles, lock and alarm vehicles and park in a secure car park or well-lit location.
