Bekesbourne: Burglary suspect, 17, from Faversham area arrested

Police investigating a report of a burglary at a business premises in Bekesbourne have arrested a teenage boy.

The 17-year-old, from the Faversham area, was detained on suspicion of burglary, theft from a motor vehicle and handling stolen goods.

Officers were called to the premises in Station Approach at 11.53am yesterday.

During a search of the area officers located the teenager and seized a number of items in his possession, including sat navs, watches and phones.

He has since been released pending further enquiries.
