Broadcaster Barbara Sturgeon and former world champion boxer Barry McGuigan were among those at a charity event in memory of Faversham GP Dr Rod Kesson.

More than 200 walkers took part in an eight-mile sponsored walk, held on the first anniversary of Dr Kesson’s death.

All proceeds will go towards the Rod Kesson Benefit Fund, launched by his family to raise money for Faversham Cottage Hospital, Pilgrims Hospices, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, British Heart Foundation and the Barnard Scholarship.
