MARK EALHAM: benefit year
KENT LEGEND: Alan Ealham

FATHER and son cricketers Alan and Mark Ealham are to host a question and answer session at Shepherd Neame’s Court Street brewery in Faversham next month.

Proceeds from the event, on the evening of Tuesday, May 13, will go towards to the Mark Ealham 2003 benefit fund.

At his peak former county captain Alan, from Ashford, was a big-hitting batsman and will always be remembered as one of the game's top fielders.

The evening includes a three-course dinner, raffle, cricket memorabilia auction and a tour of the Shepherd Neame site to experience the art of brewing and sample the produce.

For further details about the event, or to obtain tickets, at £35 a head, you can contact: Carol Buck at the benefit office 6 Doubleday Drive, Bapchild, Sittingbourne, Kent ME9 9PJ. The telephone and fax number is 01795 422165.
