Ray Turner wants to enjoy the thrilling climax to the Ryman League, Division 1 South promotion race and says his players are coming good at the right time.

Town face the biggest game of their season so far with the visit of Hastings United to Salters Lane on Saturday (3pm).

Three straight wins lifted the Lilywhites to fourth and just a point behind third-placed Worthing, with six games remaining.

Manager Turner said: “We’re a point off of third and who would have thought that a couple of weeks back after we lost at home to Corinthian Casuals?

“We have responded well with three straight wins. We have young team but they have bounced back in the perfect way.

“It’s an incredibly tight league, though (just 10 points separate Worthing from South Park in 12th).

“We’re not getting carried away, we’re just preparing for the next game, which is a big one.”
