TV star Alan Titchmarsh has been spotted filming in Kent today.

The gardener, 70, was pictured at Folkestone harbour with a camera crew this morning.

The town's Grand Burstin Hotel can be seen behind him as he presents to the camera, with a boom mic overhead.

The image of Alan was posted on Facebook by Lilian Gubbins, who said: "Alan Titchmarsh filming on the harbour."

It is understood the author is in the area to film for his show Love Your Garden - a garden makeover show produced by ITV.

Alan has hosted the series since it was first broadcast in 2011.

He has previously starred on Gardeners' World and Ground Force and presented 15 series of The Alan Titchmarsh Show.
