Folkestone thief hunted by Kent Police after mobile phone taken from William Hill bookmakers

A mobile phone thief is being hunted by police in Folkestone.

Officers have now issued a CCTV image of a man they want to question in connection with the incident in December.

The incident was reported at the William Hill bookmakers in Sandgate Road when a man accidentally left his phone behind.

The victim, a man in his 30s, soon realised what he had done and returned to the bookies but the black iPhone 6 was missing.

Police say the incident happened at around 2.25pm on Monday, December 28 and are now appealing for witnesses who might be able to help them trace the man they want to speak with.

Anyone who recognises the man or has information about the theft is asked to contact Sgt Darren Manktelow at Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting incident ZY/41292/15.
