Armed police were called to a block of flats after a man was seen with a suspected weapon.

Firearms officers descended on Clarence Street in Folkestone just after 10.15pm yesterday after concerns were raised.

A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.

A police-operated drone was pictured being used during the incident at Phoenix Court.

The arrested man remains in custody while enquiries continue.
