One of the UK's best loved comedians will be coming to Kent later this year.

Jon Richardson, star of Channel 4's 8 Out of 10 Cats, will be performing material for his new show at the Folkestone Quarterhouse.

The venue confirmed Richardson, who has become one of the most recognisable comedians in the country, will be coming to the town in October.

The 'Work in Progress' show will preview some of his new material ahead of his major upcoming UK tour.

Richardson has appeared on several comedy shows including 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Have I Got News For You, Live At The Apollo and performed stand-up on Channel 4’s Comedy Gala.

The show will be on Saturday, October 22 at 8pm.
