KENT Police have appealed for witnesses after a motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a car.

The victim, thought to be aged about 30, was riding up Dover Hill in Capel-le-Ferne, near Folkestone, on Sunday at about 1pm when he lost control of his machine.

He was in collision with a car coming in the opposite direction and died from his injuries. He has not yet been named. Police say two people in the car escaped injury.
