Motorists leaving Folkestone this afternoon can expect delays after a car flipped onto its roof.

The incident happened at lunchtime in Cheriton High Street just before the M20 junction near the Tesco supermarket but nobody has suffered injuries.

Two vehicles were involved in the smash which left a black VW Polo on its roof.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report at 12.27pm today of a two-vehicle road traffic collision in which a black VW Polo had turned on its roof.

"Officers are currently at the scene."
