Skoda Roomster stolen after burglary at bungalow in Canterbury Road, Hawkinge

Police are investigating a burglary that led to the theft of a car.

Thieves broke into a bungalow in Canterbury Road, Hawkinge, and then stole a silver Skoda Roomster.

It happened between 11.00am on Friday and 4.00pm yesterday.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "The intruders broke in and searched through rooms. The car keys were stolen, which allowed them to take the car.

“Officers would like to hear from anyone who has seen the car or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area.”

The Skoda’s registration number is YD57 UPX.
