CCTV image released following reported burglary in Sandgate Road, Folkestone

Police have issued an image of a man they would like to speak to following a reported burglary in Folkestone.

Officers investigating have issued a CCTV picture of a man they would like to identify as he may be able to help their inquiries.

A drain cover was use to damage a door of commercial premises, close to the junction with Cheriton Place in Sandgate Road.

The incident was reported to have happened at around 6.10am on Wednesday, January 23.

Items including a till containing cash were reported stolen from the shop.

The till has since been recovered.

Anyone with information regarding the burglary, or if they know the identity of the man pictured, is asked to call police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/14670/19.
