A man has been charged with carrying quantities of cocaine and heroin in Folkestone.

Community Policing Team officers who were out on patrol stopped a man in Folkestone Harbour yesterday.

The officers detained the man and found that he was carrying the class A drugs.

Clyde Byran of Hollands Avenue has been charged with possessing the drugs and has been released on bail to appear at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Wednesday November 6.
