The bus appears to be the 102 service between Lydd and Dover.

An eyewitness said: "It looks like the taxi has T-boned the bus.

"I saw the airbags in the taxi had gone off and police were checking people on the bus.

"There hasn’t been an ambulance or anything down here at the moment yet."

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at around 2.30pm following a collision involving a car and a bus in Tontine Street, Folkestone.

"Officers attended. No injuries were reported."

The crash has now been cleared and the road is understood to now be open again.
