Folkestone businesses targeted by thieves as Kent Police appeal for information

Several town centre businesses have been targeted by thieves after an overnight raid.

Burglaries were reported at town centre shops in Folkestone last night.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses to help trace two people seen in the area around Church Street at 12.20am last night.

The burglaries reportedly took place between closing time on Tuesday, June 21 and first thing this morning.

The suspects have been described as a white man said to be in his late 20s to early 30s of slim build with short brown hair and was wearing a sleeveless pale top.

The second suspect is described as a white woman in her 20s of medium build with long dark hair and wearing a black hoodie.

Police are appealing for anyone with information regarding the burglaries or anyone who witnessed the pair are asked to call 01843 222289 quoting reference ZY/20571/16.
