Passengers looking to travel to the continent from Folkestone have faced long delays throughout the day.

Eurotunnel warned at one stage this evening of delays of four hours due to a number of earlier cancellations.

Waiting times were initially at 90 minutes this morning, before then rising to two hours in the early afternoon.

Normal service was finally resumed at around 10pm.
