Fire service called as smoke spotted in Cheriton Road, Folkestone

The fire service was called to reports smoke was coming from a property in a town centre.

A fire engine rushed to the scene in Cheriton, Folkestone , just after 6pm yesterday.

Smoke was seen billowing onto Cheriton Gardens, Folkestone

A spokesman said: "One fire engine attended, but upon investigation, there was no further signs of fire."

They left the scene by about 6.20pm.
