A 28 year old man will go on trial later this year after pleading not guilty to killing a grandfather at Folkestone harbour.

Today, Gerald Philpott denied the manslaughter of Steve Holton, 54, who was found dead near the harbour wall in the early hours of August 19 last year.

His three-day trial at Canterbury Crown Court has been scheduled for July 2 in front of Judge Heather Norton.
