Man headbutted, hit and spat at in racist attack in Cheriton Place, Folkestone

A pair of racists are said to have thrown a beer can at a man before headbutting him, hitting him and spitting at him.

The victim was driving his car along Cheriton Place in Folkestone when he passed a man and a woman with a pushchair, who are said to have started shouting at him.

He rolled down his window and allegedly had racist abuse hurled at him.

The man got out of his car and a can of beer was reported to have been thrown at him. He then reported being spat on and hit.

He followed the pair on foot to The Leas, where the male suspect is said to have head-butted him before fleeing the scene in a black hatchback.

He is described as white, of broad build with a skinhead haircut. He wore a blue vest top and black bottoms.

The woman is said to be thin with very long brown hair and wearing a long grey dress.
