Police make arrest after alleged obscene act in Black Bull Road, Folkestone

Police have made an arrest after a man reportedly performed a sex act on himself in a street.

The incident was said to have happened at about 6pm yesterday at Black Bull Road, Folkestone.

But today police said: "A 60-year-old man from Folkestone has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in police custody."

A woman had told officers that as she yesterday drove past the new water tower in Black Bull Road and saw a man was sitting at the base of the tower, exposed.

Police immediately went looking for him but could not find him. The incident was recorded as an indecent exposure.
