Metropolitan Police issue appeal for missing man Alastair Dickson from Walthamstow in London believed to be in Hythe area

Police are searching for missing Walthamstow man believed to be in the Hythe area

Officers from the Metropolitan Police have issued an appeal for help to find a missing London man.

Alastair Dickson, from Walthamstow, was last seen by his flatmate at 10.30pm on Monday and it is believed he could be in the Hythe area.

The 35-year-old is described as approximately 6ft 2ins tall with an athletic build and closely shaved dark brown hair. His nose has a slightly broken appearance and he has tattoos on the lower inside of both arms.

Officers are very concerned for his safety and welfare.

He was last seen wearing brown trousers, a red jacket or anorak and flat cap and could be carrying a dark rucksack.

He has not taken his car or mobile phone.

Anyone with information or who knows of his whereabouts is urged to call police on 101.
