The 43-year-old is around six feet tall with collar length dark brown hair and was last seen wearing a black coat and woollen hat.

He was also carrying a red coat and a rucksack, and was accompanied by a black Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare, and are asking anyone who sees him to call 999 quoting reference 2-1001.
