Police investigate after pair assaulted in Sainsbury's car park, Folkestone

Police are investigating after two people were assaulted in a Sainsbury's car park.

The pair were allegedly attacked by a man and a woman while in the car park of Folkestone's Park Farm Road branch, at about 12.15pm yesterday.

Police say they are carrying out enquiries to establish what happened.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam footage which may assist the investigation, is urged to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/200160/21.

"You can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
