The Red Arrows wowed the crowds as they soared above the English Channel.

The Folkestone and Hythe RAF 100 air show celebrated the centenary year of the air force with plane displays across the weekend.

The Red Arrows were the star attraction on Sunday.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight had brought a Lancaster Bomber, Spitfire and Hurricane to the skies above the town on both days.

Tasneem Sharrem tweeted: "Spent the day in Folkestone with family and managed to catch a spectacular display by the Red Arrows to boot!

"I was too mesmerised by it to want to take any more photos than this one I managed to take fleetingly while not wanting to miss any of the jaw-dropping stunts."

Adam Schermuly added: "Always exciting seeing the Red Arrows, especially in your hometown."
