A second 19-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine with intent to supply, and was bailed until May 1 pending further enquiries.

Gode appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday and was remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on May 4.

County Lines dealing refers to the practice of city-based dealers heading to commuter towns in search of new buyers.

Sergeant Greg Pochin of Folkestone CPT said: "We continue to respond robustly to reports of county line drug supply across the district, proactively disrupting their criminal activity and bringing offenders to justice.

"If you think you have seen suspicious activity in your street, perhaps a property has lots of visitors at all times of the day for example, we urge people to report it to police on 101 (999 if a crime is in progress), or via the Kent Police website.

"You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously by calling 0800 555111 or by using the anonymous form at Crimestoppers-uk.org"
