Folkestone: Three arrested after car 'driven poorly' and police officer assaulted in Tram Road

Three people have been arrested in Folkestone after car was spotted being "driven poorly".

Police were sent to the scene in Tram Road (A260) at about 11.15pm yesterday.

A 19-year-old was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

A 26-year-old woman from Dover was also arrested, on suspicion of driving while unfit through drink or drugs.

A man, aged 20, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.

They all remain in custody as inquiries continue.
