Homes told to close windows due to haystack fire in Stelling Minnis near Folkestone

Homes have been advised to close their windows after a haystack fire near Folkestone .

Fire crews are currently at the scene of a blaze in Stone Street in the village of Stelling Minnis.

They have been working to tackle and reduce the fire spread since 4pm.

A spokesman said: "Those living or working in the area are being advised to close windows and doors as a precaution due to smoke.
