It was another great fundraising effort as Folkestonians came together to raise thousands of pounds for charity in the town’s 11th annual Santa Run.

Hundreds of competitors took to the 5km route around the town centre yesterday which wound its way along to the finish line on The Leas.

The run is organised by the Folkestone Channel Rotary Club every year and has so far raised around £90,000 for charities across the district since it began.

And this year is no different with the initial amount raised thought to be in excess of £4,000.
