A woman had to be cut free from her car before being treated by paramedics following a two-car crash.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to the crash on Canterbury Road at the junction with Crete Road West in Folkestone at around 8.30pm.

The woman was trapped in one of the vehicles and firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof and door to enable them to pass her into the care of the ambulance service on a spinal long board.
