Woman dies in hospital after stabbing

A 38-year-old woman has died after a stabbing in Folkestone in the early hours of this morning.
Police officers were called to an address in Dover Road in the town at about 3.30am after reports that a woman had been injured there.
The woman, who has not yet been named, was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford where she died at about 6am.
A man in his 40s was arrested at the same address and is now in custody.
A Home Office pathologist was carrying out a post mortem to confirm the cause of death.
