Woman spat at in racially aggravated assault in Sandgate Hill, Folkestone

A woman has been spat at in a racially aggravated assault.

The victim was walking up Sandgate Hill in Folkestone at about 6.15pm on Saturday when she was approached by a man and a woman.

The man is said to have made racially abusive comments to the victim before spitting at her.

Officers are investigating and have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed what happened or seen the people involved.

The man is described as white, between 6ft and 6ft 3ins, slim and wore a black face mask with white flames, a black jacket, grey cargo trousers and black trainers.

The woman is described as being white, around 5ft 6ins, with blonde hair to the top of her shoulders. She wore a green face mask with white flames, a denim jacket and black cargo trousers.

They were walking a dog, believed to be a lurcher.
