Police are hunting two women after an 80-year-old - who was shopping with the aid of a walking frame - was targeted in a distraction theft.

The elderly woman was shopping in Poundland in Bouverie Place Shopping Centre, Folkestone, on October 11 between 11.50am and 12.10pm, when the crime happened.

She was stopped and spoken to by another woman who left the store, then realised her handbag, originally hanging on her walking frame, had been taken.

The bag contained items including cash, bank cards and a mobile phone.
