Defender begins Invicta ban

Folkestone Invicta v Eastleigh

FOLKESTONE Invicta have centre half John Guest suspended for Saturday's home match against Eastleigh in the Ryman Premier Division.

Guest was controversially sent off in the match against Hampton & Richmond by referee Gavin Hoare, who later walked off the pitch.

Both Mr Hoare and Invicta have submitted their respective reports to the Football Association.

Guest is banned for three matches.

Folkestone progressed into the quarter-final of the Bryco Cup on Tuesday night with a 2-1 win over Bashley.

Two goals in the first 10 minutes from Joe Nielsen, who was making his first start for the club, and Michael Everitt put Invicta in the driving seat and they held on for a place in the last eight.
