Hythe Town are out of the Kent Senior Cup after forfeiting their quarter-final tie away to Bromley.

Injuries and unavailability left manager Scott Porter unable to put a team out at Hayes Lane, meaning Bromley receive a bye to the last-four.

The game was scheduled to take place on Monday night.

Porter said: "We can't fulfil the fixture. We just haven't got the players. I was chasing players yesterday (Sunday) and I've got injuries coming out of everywhere.

"Three lads came to me today saying they can't play. We haven't got a reserve side and I had two 18-year-olds in the team anyway.

"The players we've got dual-registered at Ashford can't make it and they've got a game tomorrow.

"I've never done this before but my hands are tied.

"I can't risk people getting injured and jeopardise the rest of the season."

Two of the other three quarter-finals take place on Tuesday night, with Ebbsfleet visiting Tunbridge Wells and Whitstable hosting Maidstone.

Dartford will then entertain Dover on December 3.
