Folkestone tonight head to Leatherhead - to take on basement boys Corinthian-Casuals.

Invicta’s fixture against their Isthmian Premier opponents had been due to be played last month but it was postponed after a tree fell through the home team’s clubhouse!

Repair work at the King George's Field remains ongoing so Corinthian-Casuals are having to play their home games elsewhere for the time being.

They faced Margate at Leatherhead last Tuesday - losing 1-0 - and the same venue will be used this midweek too, with a 1-0 loss at Carshalton sandwiched in between the two encounters at the weekend.

“We know the ground well. It’s not bad there,” said Folkestone manager Neil Cugley.

“It’s a bit strange, waiting the day before the game! But to be fair to Corinthian-Casuals, it’s not like it can be helped.

“We know where it’s going to be played now so we’ll just get on with it.”

Corinthian-Casuals last week parted company with boss Tony Reid. They are bottom of the pile with just one league victory while Invicta are 17th but have only played eight league fixtures this term.

Winger Kadell Daniel returned from a hamstring problem off the bench in their 2-1 FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round defeat at Merthyr Town on Saturday.

“I think he’s a good player,” Cugley said of the Guyana international.

“He’s back now which is good and, squad wise, we should be okay.”

Folkestone will visit Kingstonian this weekend.
