Soccer club appoints new secretary

RITCHIE Murning is to succeed Frank Clarke as secretary of Folkestone Invicta.

Mr Murning has recently moved down to the Ashford area and was secretary of Hednesford Town during the club's Conference days.

Mr Clarke, aged 63, has stepped down as company secretary and as a director of Folkestone Invicta to take up a new post at Dover Athletic after nine years at Cheriton Road.

MEANWHILE, Folkestone, Football Supporters' Club holds its annual meeting at Stripes Club on Wednesday, July 16, starting at 2pm.
