A crash involving several vehicles closed three lanes of the A2 this evening.

Two cars and a 4x4 are thought to be involved in the accident which happened near Cobham just after 6pm.

Three lanes of the London-bound carriageway were shut, but the road reopened just after 7pm.

It is not known if anyone has been injured.

Drivers are reported long delays in the area, but were clearing by 7pm.
