Severe delays have now cleared on the A2 west-bound after a lorry broke down near Northfleet.

Traffic was queueing after the breakdown between the Northfleet/Ebbsfleet turn-off and the Bean Interchange for Bluewater.

At its height, congestion tailed back to J2 of the M2 for Strood and Rochester, and also affected the Gravesend Road.
